Been trying to download LOTR soundtrack, found a few songs, just waiting for them to download to see if they are any good... if they are i think ill buy it... *thinking*
I installed Unreal Tournament again as well, thought id try it on my new computer, runs pretty damn good, looks better then my 233mmx with voodoo 2... arrr how things change :)

Oh well, enough rambling about nothing... back to work...

another day gone!, whew... got some of my phd application done.. which is good, also got a lot of cocoa done as well.
I got an email this morning telling me that my other cocoa book i bought had been shipped, so it should come soon.

Havnt been doing much else... thinking a lot... about nothing in particular, which is good... keeps my head working i guess.

I seem to work better at nights, dunno why....

arrr, im a nerd... Its friday night and im at home, with my ibook and cocoa programming book.. and to be quite honest absolutly loving it! *burp*
I get more productve at night, i dunno why, i think maybe cause i get a little tired and start to ramble, which in some way makes me do more. mmmm ill have to think about that.
Got an email from my phd supervisor giving me a run down oh what his impression of my phd will be, it looks find cool... im looking forward to it, sure there will be times when it is boring and a pain in the arse, but the benefits far out weight the bad points.

yay!, Its friday... two days off to do what i want *thinks i usually do what i want anyway* mmmm, i think ill get into the cocoa programming stuff this weekend, its cool. I also have to do my phd application and get it in asap.

I think i need to update my mp3 collection, its kinda getting to be annoying instead of enjoyable.

Ordered a book off the web this morning about cocoa programming after hebba recommended it. mmm, ive also been reading the oreily "Learning Cocoa" book, which is better then i thought it would be.
Im lookin forward to coding a few OS X apps ive got stored away in my head... mmm

oh well, better work.. only about 1.5 hours to go...

*yawn* Well im back in townsville again, seven hours of driving is oh soooo much fun :P
As usual spent the whole time thinking... and pondering, and singing like an idiot to all my cds.
At one stage i got a bit sleepy so i pulled up in the middle of nowhere and had a bit of a chat to the cows... they didnt seem very friendly... mmmm
Got lots of little rhymes and poems in my head, gotta try to remember them and write them down... damn...
Sooooo, i should be up here for another 10 days or so, then i head back, gotta fill out my phd application form and get that in ASAP... LOTS TO DO... mmm, its gotta be in before next week, the ultimate plan is to be able to go to WWDC again, missed it last year, but went the year before and it ROCKS!!...

*rush rush rush* sheesh, you have really slow days and then all of a sudden everything has to be done at once... damn... oh well it will sort itself out somehow. Got my car serviced and cost me $250!!, but i guess its going good... mmm thinking about doing my PHD, sooo much shit to do for it... but i wanna do it so i will go through the whole process, will be a bit hard being in townsville, but ill have to deal with that. Head back up there tomorrow.. for a few weeks more (hopefully), i really wanna get back to rockhampton and get stabilised again... mmmm

Life, Love, Pain - stories for the soul

Every story begining must have and end, without it the next story cannot start. Each story has chapters that must be finished before the next can be started, without finishing these chapters the whole story does not make sense. Skipping chapters just means that the next chapter makes no sense, and you end up having to go all the way back to make sense of it.

Finish each story before starting the next. Whenever there is and ending, a brand new story is just around the corner. Dont be afraid to close the book, as the next one is sure to be better......

ok here it is:

Take a grid (computer screen) say of 1024 pixels by 768 pixels (786432 pixels total) with a color depth of 16bit (65535 colors).
Now... If you raise 786432 to the power of 65535 you get some really big frikken number, but this is also the toal number of images that you can view on the described screen. Wouldnt it be possible to write a program that will automatically cycle through each of these combinations, and in theory it should display pictures of everything. If you think about how many pictures can display on a screen, it is pretty much anything.. So in that large number of pictures is a picture of everyones face, everyones house, everything!, and of course lots of screens of mumbo jumbo..

Amazing things happen at predetermind stages of our lives, for no reason, fired off by what seems like unrelated events. Its these things that make us take a look and realise somthing about ourselves in a way we have never seen before. Realising these things starts off the firing of other seeminly unrelated events, yet overall the whole thing is staged and already predetermined.
