Didnt do much today, watched a dvd... marked a few assignments... I think ill mark some more tomorrow and then go check out a movie in the afternoon... im a bit behind with the movies...

My head still is a little dodgy from my headach yesterday... which is weird... dunno.. maybe i just need a drink of coke..

Been working on a new webpage, i craped what i had been doing, it looked like crap, and i whacked together somthing tonight which isnt too bad... anyway, ill put putting it up over the weekend sometime when i get around to tweaking it a bit more.

Had a shit of a headache today, once again woke up with it and it lasted till about 7pm, now its gone... as always..

I had to go and do some web stuff for some people today, updating content. Anyway, a job that should take about 1 hour max turned out to take most of the day and i still didnt get it done, damn it annoyes me when people dont have the stuff ready. I stood around most of the morning waiting for stuff to put in the page, then after putting it in they changed their mind blah blah blah... anyway, ive gotta go back there on monday to finish it off cause they didnt have all the stuff... bleh.. why dont they get all the stuff and then get me in?, would cost them less money and save me stuffing around...

Ive got an aic conditioner in the flat now, the owner came round the other day and said one was going in, and it got put in. The only problem is that the electriction hasnt been to install a damn pawerpoint for it.. sheesh.. not that ill probably use it that much but its just sitting there now doing nothing... ill give it a few days and call up to see what the go with it is.

Got some more marking to do, got an email today from 2 people saying for me to go and pick some more up, so i guess i need to start getting into that, ive got about 3 weeks to do it which should give me plenty of time... money money money...

bleh.. righto, im done... for now..

*whew* Just sent off a job application.. now i wait and see what happens...

Had the meeting this morning and it was kinda weird... seems i wont be doing a great deal with it, it has been palmed off to the townsville office by the look of it.. hrmmm, im kinda the middle man... :) We have another metting on thursday with the client, to try and nut out enough detials to write a requirments doco... so that should be ok.. things are going pretty smoothly so far.

Ripped "the fast and the furious" tonight, took around 2.5 hours to do, and the quality is pretty good... i noticed that if i play the ripped file through windows media player the quality is pretty shitty, but if i play it with powerdvd it looks pretty swish even at full screen, i dunno why, but its cool. Im trying to find a way to cut the mpeg file in half, at the moment its around 1gig, but i wanna split it up onto 2 cds... i guess its back to good old google to find the right tool for the job.

Got the basics of my new webpage done... looks a bit crappy at the moment but it needs a bit of fine tuning... (and hack and slashing)

hrmmm, righto, thats about it... im off to listen to some mp3s and get in the sleeping mood...

Havnt done much, still stuffing around with php and stuff, building a few little thingies.. and working on a web site making/admin template type thing for the fun of it...

Bought some cheap dvds the other day from the video store, they are ex rentals but they are all new releases and tehy were selling then for $10, $15 each... total bargain since they are in the shops for $30-$40... anyhoo, i got home and delicately peeled off the video store stickers, and i found out that its possible to remove the video store label from the actual dvd disk by wetting it with water and letting it soak in... and after drying the dvd works fine! hrmm

Working on some new webpage designs... ive got a pretty funky idea which im going to try and pull off using tables, but it might be a bit tricky... stay tuned.. its gunna be cool though if i pull it off...

Got some more done on my little cocoa app, fixed up / worked out a BIG thing i was stuck on and was really stocked... im still buggered on how i will output the results, i think ill just go with spitting it to a pdf or html or somthing for starters... and hope some other idea pops into my head while im sleeping or somthing.

Listening to Pearl Jam at the moment, their songs never seem to get old, ill have stints of not listening but in the end i always seem to go back to them.. dunno

Got myself a new cdrom, a dvd doo hickey, i thought i may as well get a dvd rom drive, a few magazines i usually get are coming out with dvds now so i thought for $99 i cant go wrong.. its a LiteOn one, and the best thing is that i could get a little utility to turn the region checking thing off... and its now un-regioned encoded... not that ive got any overseas dvds, but its the fact that i have it that makes me a geeky dvd bloke... :)

Soooo.. ive been ripping dvds!, took about 2 hours to rip shrek to video cd format, its the sortest dvd i have and i just wanted to see what it was like. The quality needs a bit of tweaking i think, but i cant argue with it, its not too shabby...

Got a meeting tomorrow morning with a dood from work about a web job thats coming up, a site done in cold fusion, which should be cool, im kinda looking forward to it...

Been fixing up my resume and applying for jobs i see, theres one going at the meat works here for an analyst programmer which im putting in for, should be a bit of a raise money wise, which would be great.

hrmmm, righto, im off to do what comes next....
