I think ill start looking at Perl/PHP stuff... ive got a good grip on cold fusion and ASP.NET, so i think its time to do something that is a little cross platform and cheap :)

Im sitting admiring my mp3 collection, varied and unique.. representing the wide range of music i listen to... hrmmm yep...

I was looking at the price of ADSL/DSL services in Rocky tonight, and its too expensive and limited... most of the plans in Australia limit you to 3gig per month, which truely is not a lot... download a few mp3s, and a couple of cd images and your over the limit... we need more competition in the telecommunications field... why cant some business mogul start a broadband internet service in Austarlia offering unlimited cheap internet access... id sign up for sure...

Damn its a bit chilly in tropical north queensland tonight... i had to pull out the daggy tracky daks and socks... im tellin ya... its cold... but luckily i have weetbix and warm milk!!! yaahh!!!!!!

I think i might have a bit of a clean up on the weekend... my place has a lot of 'piles' which need to be de-piled... Im a stacker... i naturally make piles with my stuff... piles of books, piles of papers, piles of plates, piles of weetbix boxes... piles of piles... you get the idea... im a piler... hrmmmm

Ive been slack with my webpage lately... its kinda in the back of my head... i have stuff to add to it, just havnt done it... somtime soon :)

*sigh* had the worst shave of my life tonight... i look like ive been attacked by a group of little evil pixies that used really sharp pins to poke my face and make it bleed.... hrmmm well i guess its not that bad :)

Went to an Apple seminar thingy today at the uni, it was cool, they gave a run down of OS X (as usual) and gave some info about the unix underneath it... its all stuff ive heard before or read before but i recon any kind of Apple stuff here in Rockhampton is a definate bonus... i hope more of it comes.

Had another meeting with my supervisor today, my PHD is looking pretty good (im in the 'good mood' feeling stage.. ha ha), anyway... its all good. I noticed that 2 of the people that went through the IT degree with me are now associate lecturers... which kinda got me wondering... i thought that you had to at least have honours to be lecturing... or maybe have a degree and experience... but these people just have a standard IT degree... just justifies the fact that its not what you know... but who you know...

I wouldnt mind being an associate lecturer for a bit. I could handle doing that for a while. All i need is a constant amount of money coming in to pay my loan payments... hrmmm, im looking into that area :)

Still playing a bit of SOF2... it gets annoying.. theres little things that are dodgy... like the baddies know where you are ll the time, even if they are behind walls and stuff... you can be sneaking up to a wall.. and when you poke you head out to shoot them, they know!, and you die... to me thats a bit weird... theres noway that would happen for real... its silly... also their accuracy with a grenade is ridiculous... seriously....

I found out the other day that Warcraft 3 will be out on 2nd July.... woo hoo! that shound be cool...

I missed out on a LAN with some mates on the weekend cause i had a bit of a headache and wasnt in the mood... maybe next time.

righto... i think ill go do somthing else.... dum di dum daaaahhhhh....
