hrmmm, righto, after my terrible 'quiz' attack i have once again gained my composure... *sigh*

I want a machine that reads books for me and inserts the knowledge in my head... yup... thats all...
I have 4 books here (in front of me, not mentioning the ones in the cupboard), all of which are in various stages of being read. Im not really someone who can just browse a book... i need to read it all first and then i can browse... is that weird? Anyway... because of this i find myself reading a number of books concurrently... which i guess keeps me busy..

Cooked up a big pot of taco mince last night... and ive been munching on tacos ever since... dang they are nice....

I think ill go see a movie tomorrow... im not sure which one yet... ill wait and see whats on when....

woaw! time flies!.. went and had a meeting with a client today for work stuff... a webpage which looks pretty cool.. anyway ive gotta type up a bit of a proposal for it which should be interesting...

Went and saw starwars again with a mate that hadnt seen it.. noticed lots of little things that i didnt when i first saw it.. and i still want a light saber :(

Apple are doing a course in Australia in a few months about administering mac os X, anyway the AUC is offering subsidised positions for member universities, so i have sent off an email to the local REP to ask whats goin on. I dunno if students are counted, but i reckon that im technically staff since im doing some marking and stuff :) Anyway, ill wait and see. Apparently the course is recognised by apple and counts towards some OS X certification.. which would be cool!.. The unsubsised positions cost around $900, but im thinking about paying that much, with the marking im doing i could afford it and i think it would be beneficial... hrmmm anyway, enough babbling about that...

Im sitting here eating weet-bix with warm milk... for some reason it has started getting cold here at night time!.. do you believe it!, cold in tropical Rockhampton! dang!.. anyway i had to get another blanket last night it was cold and i had to put some socks on me feets cause me toes were gettin chilly...

Things are going good... Ive got so much stuff to do, ive gotta send stuff to everyone... damn.. cds mostly... ive gotta get my act together :) a big sorry to everyone thats waiting for me to get off my lasy bum and send them :)

The state of origin is on tomorrow night.. go the Blues!.. im not usually a football supporter, but this is a different story :) and being a NSW boy in QLD i need to support NSW as much as possible :)

Got some more marking today!, i was out at the uni doing somthing and one of my old lecturers pulled me aside and asked if i wanted to mark 200 exams for him... of course i said yes... its cool... I went and saw the secretary as well and im going to drop off a resume just incase there is any more part time stuff going on.. cant hurt :)

Well its getting late... i best be off to bed. Im gonna have a hot shower to warm up and then run to bed so i dont get cold :) Here i am whinging about the cold... back home in Inverell it got to -4, apparently the coldest in the state last night! damn... i think id die if i went back there... but mum and dad have gas heating... so maybe i wouldnt die ... if i stayed inside ... and pop didnt leave the window open he he :) (mum will get that little joke) Everyone say hi to my mum... shes great! *big 'hi' goes up from the masses that read bretts blog*

Went and saw starwares Ep2 this morning, it was great... i really enjoyed it... Will be cool when they release the full set on dvd...

Done lots of cocoa... seems the more i do the more it makes sense and the easier it gets... yay!

Im keen on getting a gamecube, i was browsing the games and there are some good ones coming out... After playing the PS2, X-Box and gamecube, i definately like the gamecube best... dunno why, the controller is great! and it just seems neat... hrmmm

Another week starts... already got a list of stuff to do, ive gotta go see a client on tuesday about a possible web project... which would be cool... i know about that stuff... so i wont be winging it like last time...

oh well, US Marshalls is on tv!, and im going to watch the rest of it...!
