grrrr, its happening again, sunday night, 11:30pm, and im starting to get motivated to do stuff. Ive been cleaning and not doing a lot today and suddenely now that its getting late and i need to work tomorrow i get all motivated. I need a more engrossing job, somthing to keep my brain active so i dont get like this. Im sure its only because i do nothing at work at the moment...

I drew a template on my PeeCee case tonight, its just a plain old rounded one, i thought id start simple and see how it goes. I think i go for a wander down to bunnings (hardware store) some time and try to find something to cut it out with. hrmmmmm

My head has been really active lately, ive got lots of stuff planned and in motion, and its all going well and to plan.... not saying that i have a plan or anything, but i just feel like everythings going at the speed its meant to. Ive been working on my cocoa apps on and off, i read a bit more of the hillegass cocoa book, and its going good. I need help on the UI side of things, i dunno, i just need ideas. *sigh*

Im going to start making some wallpapers again soon, i like doing that and im getting sick of my digital blasphemy wallpaper. Its weird but i go through a wallpaper every few days, i just need to change it, i guess i get bored of them quick. At the moment ive got a cool galaxy picture on my PeeCee and a cool orange X thingy on my ibook, but i want to make my own.

bleh bleh, i feel like writing something, but i should really go to bed, i dunno why i get like this late at night.... hrmmmm

ooo!, i just remembered im getting jedi knight 2 tomorrow off a friend, ive read a bit about that game and apparently its good, if it really grabs my fancy ill buy it. I do that a lot, i will borrow a game and play it, but if i really like it ill buy it. I remember burning a copy of quake 3 off a mate when it first come out, at the time i couldnt afford it but i wanted it, anyway a few weekends ago i went and bought it, so i figure it all works out. Im kinda the same with mp3's, ill download them, but if i like em ill buy the cd, but im not going to buy some piece of shit cd for $30 when i only like one song. hrmmm, anyway... my views on software/music piracy are my views.. heh heh (and probably the same as a lot of other people)... yah!!, but anyway...

*sigh*, im a bit tired, ive been cleaning all day, ive got an inspection soon, so im tidying things up a bit in my flat. Havnt done much else today, ive got my ibook setup and ready to churn through some more cocoa, but other then that i havnt got anything else planned. Things are going ok...

Ive been looking at shirts over at ThinkGeek, and i think ill grab a few, they are like $14 $US, which is about $30 $A, which isnt bad, plus the shirts are pretty cool...

Ive started looking around at mac development jobs the last few weeks, The more i think about it the more i want to do it, I dunno why, and its not somthing i can explain, theres just somthing i get out of developing on a mac that i dont get from my PeeCee, i guess its the whole 'Mac Geek' thing... *sigh*, bleh... ramble ramble ha ha

The whole WWDC thing is kinda over now, it cool... Ive been working on my cocoa apps and progress has been amazingly good, Im working on the UI in IB, but its harder then it looks. I need to read some UI guidline books or somthing. Ive basically got the necessary classes and evewrything going, but have to get the UI sorted out. I think ill contact the staff member at the uni who is going and try to get any info i can off him when he gets back.mmm it will sort itself out.

Im thinking of starting a mac type user group here in rockhampton, theres a few mac people here and i just think it would cool to get one going. I think ill drop by the mac shop and sus it out. hrmmmmm.

Ive been playing a bit of civilisation 3 lately, and its kinda cool, very addictive after playing it for a while, i only play it for a short time then do somthing else.

Im constantly updating my webpage (see the link on the left), so check it out somtime.... Im kinda motivated at the moment to do all that sort of stuff, so thats cool, I figure i need some more pictures on there....

Anyway, im off to set up my ibook and get back to the cocoa! yay!!

Dropped the cocoe books back to the bloke at uni i know and found out that the AUC wwdc scholoships should be announced tomorrow, which is cool. He told me there were 88 total who applied, which was a shock to me, considering they have 16 funded positions... *sigh*, chances are slim, but im still positive :)

I still havnt bought a new bag for my ibook, damn damn damn, i hate when i cant decide, i need to just go do it and be happy with it, but im worried it wont be big enough, but the big one is too big... sheesh... how pathetic :)

Found some stuff yesterday to fix a big problem ive had with my sport draw app.... but after playing with it this morning it works!!, Ive written it as a C++ console app, just to get it going, so now im going to convert it to objective C and put a wonderful aqua interface on it :)... Shouldnt take too long. yay!

mmm, ok, rant time.... why do people who have little computer expereince buys cd-burners?!, i got a call from my mum today about somone she knows who got some bloke to install a cd-burner, and of course the computer isnt working now. The person in question only uses the computer for small things and the odd small game, and it always baffles me what people like that do with cd-burners. I consider myself a hardcore geek, and of course i have a cd-burner, but all i use it for is to 'backup' my games, burn some music on my re-writable cds for the car, and backup my current projects and data and huge colection of mac pr0n (*thhhhbt*). I probably use it a few times a week but i cant see what other people would use them for.
I mean, i go into the computer shops now and almost every machine comes with a cd burner, why!?, most people arnt going to need it, how many word documents would you need to fill a cd? sheesh.. bleh bleh, i dunno, it seems people here word about cd-burners and straight away think they need one.. bah... anyway.... people can do what they want... ill just start thnking about answers to common cd burning problems for when i get a call :) ha ha

Im feeling a bit better today, still a little dizzy and icky guts feeling, but im going ok. I have some cds (speaking of cd-burners) to send to my sisters down south, which ill do today and also have a few other things to post...

I finished off the first cocoa book i had, the "Learning Cocoa" one by Oreilly, its pretty good, i got a lot out of it. So ill have to drop that back to the owner somtime today. Then i can start on the next book i have... yaya!!!

Im still waiting to hear about WWDC, i think ill go today and buy a new bag for my ibook. There are some noce ones around, i think ill go for one of these, they arnt too bulky like my WWDC2000 one, yet they still have room for other stuff, whcih is what i want. One of my favorite aussie computer mags gave it a good review as well, so i guess you could say im sold on the idea :)

I think ill just go and do it, i seem to spend a lot of time contemplating things and thinking, when really i know its a good thing to do.. bleh... yup ill go do it... mmmm maybe i can get another cool mac poster like last time.., im still drooling over my new imac poster.. *sigh*...
