Just back from watching "Resident Evil", i was expecting much from it but it blew me away, was really good. I dont mind the odd sci-fi film every so often. Its cool, go see it..

Today is an amazing day, clear blue sky, sun is shining, but it doesnt seem to be as hot as usual. perfect day for being at the beach i think. I was thinking about going for a drive, but im unsure just yet. Im pretty happy just sitting here with the breeze blowing in the door.

Its mothers day today!, i need to find somthing i wrote earlier on, hrmmmm, ill have a look. If i fiund it ill blog it.. :)

YAAAAA, hrmmm, i think ill go for a walk or somthing, or a drive... yup...

Just watching Forest Gump on tv, a classic, its pretty cool.

Was doing some Cocoa while i was watching it but hit a bit of a complicated bit that i just dont get, ill have to read it again sometime..
Im feeling kinda content, i think ill go for a drive and get some icecream, its late but theres places open, and ive got cravings for some kind of chocolate icecream.

Well WWDC is over, Im waiting to hear from hebba when she gets back to seattle. I reckon she will give me a run down of it which should be cool. Im hoping they release the sessions on DVD again this year, i might consider buying them.

Starwars episode 2 starts here on thursday morning at 12:01am, Im not going to that session but ill have to go some other time, im sure it will be cool. *makes a noise like a light saber and moves hands around pretending to hold one* zzzssssshhhmmm zzssshhhhhhhhmmmmmm
*sigh* If anyone knows where i can get me a light saber, let me know :)

I caught up with a bloke i met at WWDC 2000 the other day, saw aome student photos of the latest wwdc and saw him in them, the photos just happened to have a name so i searched around and found a webpage. I thought that was neat. I didnt keep in contact with people i met there, i dunno why, but if i go again that will be different.

oh well, im going to get icecream...

not much happening today, finished marking the assignments... just have to submit my timesheet *rubs hands together as dollar signs appear in his eyes*

Hrmmm, yep, very interesting.. I think ill do some cocoa on the weekend, the sportsdraw is close... I need to start working on an icon, which should be fun.

Went to tea with the people form work last night, wasnt too bad, had some very tasty chips with melted cheese and the nicest rib eye steak and gravy.. Was talking to a friend about Starwars episode 2 which starts here next week, It was funny... Im thinking of going to one of the 12:01am sessions, just for the hell of it.

Oh well, im going to browse the web, there must be somthing to keep me entertained...

Well its 8:30 and im still at home... ya wanna know why?, its cause my boss from brisbane told me yesterday to stay at home and work. He came up and asked me what i had been doing, and i told him that i do some work at home in the afternoon. He questioned that, and i promptly told him that the 'thing' that looks like a usable PC in the office is in fact a lump of rubbish that is useless. Anyway, he told me to stay at home while im on the freelist if it is more productive... so yup... it is more productive, and ill stay at home.

He started my review yesterday at around 3, but got a bit offtrack and was talking about other things, and then he had to go at 4 so i dont know yet if i get a raise or what. Anyway, another bloke has his review this morning, and then i will get a call to go in and finish mine off. So ill see what happens.

I just fed my credit card number into the apple developer site, signed up for the student mailings again. Should be cool, i thought id get in and hope that i get sent the new release of OS X. *thinking* I will need to clean out my ibook a bit, 10gig on that just doesnt cut it anymore *sigh*...

I forgot how nice weetbix with cold mild was, but i had some this morning and it was great. I think ill do some marking today, and a little crystal reports. hrmmmm

Well, its around 11pm, and Its time i should be goin to bed... but as usual im feeling like working... blah to that..

I was chatting to a friend who asked me if i wanted to do some more marking, so of course i jumped on it, its all good, and its all money... I gave him my email address and he was going to pass it on for me. I should do some more marking for the other subjects im doin, times passing by, but its cool, i can get through then pretty quick.

Ive been looking around for a cheaper place. Found a few places advertised at the uni which i might check out. I might have to get rid of some of my stuff... ive got too much...

Still sulking quietly about WWDC, but ive mad a promise to myself to go next year, even if i don get a scholorship. Im going to sign up for the student developer program again in the next few days.. $200 but its sooo worth it. I havnt done much work on my apps or anything lately, guess ive fallen into a kind of slumb... but im putting it down to a little worry about my salary review, i know it will be cool and all, but i guess i just feel a change coming and change is always a little scary.

oh well, i better go to bed, the boss is up tomorrow.. hopefully he will do my review tomorrow and get it over and done with..

Im dieing here.... reading all the stuff about WWDC 2002, the keynote and stuff, and im missing out.. :( lol
As mentioned they apparently showed stuff about jaguar (the next release of osx) and its got lots of new stuff... even iChat which is kinda like apples own instant messenger... something that ive been going on about for a while now.. thats really cool... I noticed that the WWDC people got a preview copy of jaguagr, 6cds, dammit... i wonder if the normal student membership people will get them sent to them...

i hope so,i want a look at it

WWDC has started!... Im constantly glued to hebbas blog for all the news about cool apple stuff. I read somewhere they were going to show a little of the next OS X release (jaguar), so im hoping they might get a beta of it or somthing and ill try to get a look somewhere...

hrmmm, wish i was there... but im not... so ill just get over it.

Played some LAN games last night with a few people. It was cool, but ive got a headache today which sucks...

Not much else is goin on... got some verification about my phd funding, its fully funded, so i pay nothing for a total of 4 years full time study... which means i can do it part time or anything. Another cool thing is i can change my enrolment from internal/external part time/full time and any stage and it doesnt affect it... thats cool!

ok, im going to eat, my headaches is giving me fatty food cravings...
